No money to be spent on new branding by local NHS Trusts
Local NHS trusts have confirmed to Healthwatch Oxfordshire that they will not be spending money on new materials when the revised NHS branding comes in.
We had received a number of concerns from members of the public, who were worried that valuable resources may be spent complying with the latest NHS guidance on its logo. NHS England has produced a revised logo in a bid for greater consistency across all NHS providers.
However both Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust and Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust have confirmed to Healthwatch Oxfordshire that while the the new logo will be stored and used electronically, no new printed materials will be produced until existing stocks have been used up, so that no extra cash will be spent on conforming to the new branding. There will therefor be no impact on the resources available to provide services.
