Hospital Trust to hold public and patient forum event

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Found Trust is to hold a second Public and Patient Forum event on Monday  November 27, at Tingewick Foyer, Academic Centre, Level 2 (ground level), John Radcliffe Hospital,  3pm until 5pm

At the first Public and Patient Forum, in June 2017, two streams of work were identified and have been progressing, steered by Patient and Public Reference Groups. The two most-voted-for topics for focus were ‘improving communication’ and ‘bridging the gap/discharge’ (the gap between hospital and community/charity services).

The purpose of the second forum is to:

  •  provide an overview of the progress made since June
  • and to hear your views on how this work should progress over the next six months.

Key members of staff will be present in order to respond to questions and provide updates.

The forum will involve discussions in small groups and we hope to hear from a wide range of people and organisations - Healthwatch, members of the Trust Patient Partnership Groups, voluntary and community groups, Foundation Trust members and GP Locality Forums.

If you would like to attend, please visit the  Event Brite page to apply for your free ticket. If you later realise you cannot attend, please cancel your ticket on Event Brite so that someone else may take your place. Ticket ‘sales’ will be open until Wednesday  November 22.

Booking on behalf of someone else? Select two tickets and email the team with your names patientinvolvement@ouh.nhs.uk.

If there are no remaining tickets when you try to book, please email patientinvolvement@ouh.nhs.uk and you will be added to the waiting list in case of cancellations.
