County’s adult care chief to speak at Healthwatch April Board meeting
Oxfordshire’s new head of adult care will be the guest speaker at the Healthwatch Oxfordshire April board meeting,which will be held in Wantage on April 25.
Kate Terroni, Director for Adult Services at Oxfordshire County Council, will give a presentation on adult social care – an area that has dominated national and local headlines in the past few days.
The meeting will also focus on Healthwatch Oxfordshire’s plans for the coming year and its recent project on people’s healthcare experiences in Witney.
Rosalind Pearce, Executive Director of Healthwatch Oxfordshire, said: “People are becoming much more aware of the importance of social care in the light of plans to deliver care closer to home, so we are delighted that Kate Terroni is speaking at our public meeting at this critical time.”
The meeting will begin at 7pm at The Beacon leisure centre, Portway, Wantage OX12 9BX. Everyone is welcome to attend.
